Support quality, do you get a real answer or a canned reply

Been thinking about how much support quality decides whether I stay somewhere.

Had a withdrawal sit pending past the stated 24 hours last week. Opened live chat, asked specifically why it hadn't been actioned. First reply was the canned 'withdrawals can take up to X working days' line which didn't answer the question at all.

Pushed back, asked them to check my account specifically. Took a minute but the second agent actually looked, said a doc needed reverifying, sorted it, paid within the hour.

That's the difference isn't it. Not whether they reply fast, but whether they actually read what you wrote. How do you rate the places you use on this? And does anyone bother judging a site on support before they've had a problem?

I test it before depositing now. Open chat, ask something specific about wagering on a particular game type. If I get a relevant answer, good. If I get a wall of generic terms, that tells me what a real problem will look like.

The reverify thing you hit is common. Annoying when they don't flag it proactively and just let it sit pending. A decent site emails you the moment a doc's needed.

Canned first reply is almost standard now, they're clearly told to deflect once before escalating. The question is how quick you get to a human who'll actually look.

Best support I've had was email funnily enough, not chat. Detailed reply, named agent, referenced my actual account. Chat's faster but often shallower. Depends what you're asking.

honestly I judge it entirely on how they are when something's gone wrong. anyone's lovely when you're depositing.

had one place keep me on hold then close the chat. never again. the one I use now answered a daft question of mine patiently at 11pm so they've earned my loyalty really
