GamCare and the tools worth knowing about

Thought I'd put a tidy reference together since it comes up a fair bit. None of this is preaching, just what's there if you want it.
GamCare run the National Gambling Helpline, free and confidential, phone or live chat, open round the clock. You don't have to be in crisis to use it, plenty of people ring just to talk something through.
GAMSTOP is the national self-exclusion. One sign-up blocks every UKGC-licensed site for the period you pick.
Then the per-account tools on the sites themselves. Deposit limits, loss limits, session reminders, time-outs (a short break, a day up to six weeks) and full self-exclusion at that operator.
There's also blocking software you can put on your own devices, the bank gambling-block toggle a lot of banks now offer, and BetBlocker which is free.
Question for the thread: which of these have you actually used, and did it do the job? Real experiences are more use than a list.
