Your daftest small win, the silly one not the jackpot

Post by ruby_reels »

Not the big wins. Everyone remembers those. I mean the daft little ones that stick in your head for no good reason.

Mine: 4.60 on a penny slot about three years ago. Four pound sixty. But I'd been having an absolute mare of a week, car had packed in, and I genuinely sat there grinning like I'd won the lottery. Cashed it out the next morning just to say I'd actually withdrawn something, ha.

Still think about that fiver-ish more fondly than any proper win I've had since. Mad really.

Go on then, what's yours? The silly one you'd never tell anyone in real life but it lives in your head rent free.

Ha, love this thread.

Mine was 11 quid on blackjack but it was the manner of it. Down to my last fiver on the table, fully resigned to it being gone, and I just kept scraping back to even and then crept ahead. Took about forty minutes of tiny hands. Walked away with eleven pound and felt like Phil Ivey.

Withdrew it same night. Open Banking, in the account before I'd finished my brew. Best 11 quid I've ever made, objectively pathetic, I know.

Mine's a 2p stake that paid 3.80 on a bonus round I nearly didn't trigger.

What made it daft was I'd been methodically logging my sessions in a spreadsheet for months, every win and loss, and that one stupid little line item somehow tipped my whole quarter into profit by about a pound. A POUND. I screenshotted the spreadsheet. I'm not a well woman.

Three quid. Free spins, no deposit thing, ages back.

The daft part is I'd completely forgotten the account existed, logged in months later expecting nowt and there's three pound sat there from spins I didn't remember playing. Felt like finding a tenner in an old coat. Wagering on it was a nightmare mind so I never actually withdrew it, just played it out for the laugh.
