One of the older UKGC-licensed sites I use has done a full relaunch this week, new layout and a fresh welcome offer, so I had a poke about before judging it.
The headline change is the offer. Old one was a match up to a set amount at 40x wagering, the new one drops to 35x and adds a small chunk of spins. Not life changing but 35x is at least fair these days.
What I actually care about: withdrawals. Tested a small £40 cashout to my debit card and it landed next day, no extra KYC nag because I'd already verified months ago. Cashier looks tidier on mobile too.
The bit nobody mentions in the press blurb: they have quietly tightened the bonus terms. Max bet while wagering is now capped lower, so read it before you go big.
Anyone else been moved over to the new version yet? Curious if the payout speed holds up on a bigger withdrawal.

Got shifted over Tuesday. Did a £220 cashout on the Thursday, Open Banking this time not card, and it cleared in about six hours. So the speed isn't just a small-amount thing, at least for me.
Agree on the max bet cap during wagering. They've gone from a fairly generous figure down to a couple of quid a spin. Caught a mate out who didn't read it and had a bonus voided. Fair enough really, it was in the terms, but it's a change.

I'll believe the "tidier" KYC when I see it on a withdrawal that trips a check. Relaunches always look smooth until something flags.
That said, dropping to 35x and lowering the max bet during wagering is the right direction. Lower max bet protects people from blowing a balance chasing the playthrough. Credit where due.
What's the withdrawal cap per day now? That's the number that gets buried and it's the one that actually stings if you have a decent win.

ooh I hadn't even noticed mine changed til I read this, logged in and yeah, all different. honestly i preferred the old menu but cmq the spins were a nice little surprise on top.
not done a withdrawal since the relaunch so can't speak to that. will report back next time. fair play for actually testing it bex rather than just copying the press release like half the sites do
